Sentius in the news this week
Earlier this week, we announced the opening of our new Melbourne office, which consolidated all of our staff into one location for the first time. The news secured a feature story in Mumbrella, and as a result it appears that we may have ruffled a few agency feathers and attracted many comments.
You can see the Mumbrella piece here, but also read the full, original media release below which is very much focused on our strategy first approach and digital offering:
SENTIUS CALLS FOR ‘STRATEGY FIRST’ IN A WORLD OF DIGITAL DELUSION
Sentius is ready to shake up the local agency scene, setting up its new head office at 5 Queens Road Melbourne earlier this month. A full service agency drawing on a strong business consultancy background, Sentius (formerly Sage) places an emphasis on strategy first and is deliberately opening its doors to emerging and challenger brands.
Chief Executive Officer and strategist, Mark Fraser says, “as a result of our long history and capabilities as a business consultancy, we provide a rare hybrid of high level, sound strategic thinking and analysis as the basis of everything we do.”
“By applying strategy first we deliver tailored business and marketing solutions that are designed to achieve the right outcomes for our clients, not just reach, clicks or likes. “
“Many agencies claim to be strategic or full service but they are often not. We start all client relationships with a three-year marketing plan and stick around to implement the plan across traditional and digital. We work at a deeply strategic level which many agencies, in particular digital agencies, couldn’t begin to understand.”
“Digital agencies have much to answer for. They pitch on spin, create fear and use technical jargon no one understands,” Fraser explained.
Employing staff across Melbourne, Sydney and Hanoi, Sentius has in-house capabilities across web development, design, digital and social media marketing, search and SEO, traditional marketing, advertising, consulting, PR and research.
“The team is handpicked, highly qualified and obsessed with results. Many are from client side, so you won’t hear the usual agency rhetoric or jargon. Our down to earth, no-bullshit attitude and transparent approach is a direct reflection of our five business values of balance, knowledge, commitment, strategy and growth. This is what really sets us apart from other agencies.” Fraser added.
Sentius has worked with: La Trobe Uni, Jaggad, McMillan Shakespeare, Warrnambool Cheese and Butter, Rhodes & Beckett, Rokk Ebony, Beds for Backs, Automobility, Community Care Chemist, Skillinvest and more, across B2C and B2B.
